At Roots to Sky, our Therapeutic Residential Services provide a safe, structured and clinically supported living environment for children and youth under 18 who require intensive therapeutic support, emotional stabilization, behavioural intervention and consistent daily care.

We understand that some children and youth need more than temporary support—they need a stable therapeutic environment where healing can begin, trust can be rebuilt and growth can be sustained.

Our residential program is designed for children and youth experiencing emotional, behavioural, mental health, developmental, family or placement‑related challenges, offering individualized care within a trauma‑informed and family‑centered framework.

Through 24‑hour staffed therapeutic support, multidisciplinary clinical collaboration and structured daily programming, we help children and youth build safety, emotional regulation, resilience, life skills and stronger pathways toward long‑term success.

At Roots to Sky, we recognize that turning 18 does not mean the journey is over. For many young people, the transition into adulthood can be one of the most challenging stages of life—especially for those navigating trauma, mental health challenges, housing instability, limited support systems or the transition out of care.

Our Transitional Living & Young Adult Support Program provides structured, trauma‑informed and practical support for young adults ages 18 to 25 who need guidance, stability and continued connection as they move toward independent living.

We believe independence is not built overnight. It is built through stability, support, relationships, life skills and meaningful opportunities.
